In a startling display of reckless driving, Swindon police caught an astonishing 88 drivers speeding in under an hour during a recent operation. In just 50 minutes, between 10:30 and 11:25 GMT on Friday, 77 drivers were offered a speed awareness course, 9 faced fines and points, and 2 were summoned to court. The fastest driver reached a staggering 58mph, nearly double the 30mph speed limit, demonstrating the urgent need for education and awareness about the dangers of speeding.
